عقد مجلس جامعة المعرفة اجتماعه السابع برئاسة سعادة الأستاذ الدكتور عبدالرحمن بن عبدالله الصغيّر، رئيس الجامعة، وبحضور وكيل الجامعة وعمداء الكليات والعمادات المساندة، وعضوية معالي الدكتور منصور بن ناصر الحواسي، وسعادة الأستاذ الدكتور خالد علي فودة، وسعادة الأستاذة الدكتورة ابتسام بنت محمد الماضي .
وقد استُهل الاجتماع برفع الشكر والتقدير لصاحب السمو محافظ الدرعية على رعايته الكريمة لحفل تخريج الدفعة الثانية عشرة من طلاب وطالبات الجامعة، مؤكدين أن هذه الرعاية تجسد دعم القيادة لأبنائها وبناتها في مسيرتهم العلمية. كما عبّر المجلس عن شكره وامتنانه لمعالي الدكتور وليد أبو الفرج، رئيس الجامعة السابق، على جهوده المخلصة في تطوير الجامعة خلال فترة رئاسته.
وناقش المجلس عددًا من المواضيع الأكاديمية والتنظيمية المهمة، أبرزها إطلاق جائزة التميّز لعام 2025، والتي تأتي في إطار تحفيز منسوبي الجامعة نحو التميز المؤسسي والابتكار، وتُعد خطوة نوعية ضمن منظومة التميز في مؤسسات التعليم العالي. كما أقر المجلس اعتماد برنامج الماجستير في الأمن السيبراني وتدشين القبول فيه، في ظل التوجه الوطني نحو دعم تخصصات المستقبل وتعزيز الأمن الرقمي. واطّلع المجلس كذلك على ضوابط التقويم الدراسي للعام الجامعي القادم 2025/2026، بما يسهم في رفع كفاءة التخطيط الأكاديمي.
تأتي هذه القرارات ضمن مساعي الجامعة الحثيثة لتطوير برامجها وخططها بما يتوافق مع رؤية المملكة 2030 ويعزز من جودة مخرجاتها التعليمية.

Under the supervision of Dr. Amani Mohammed, a group of medical students from the University of Knowledge presented an outstanding research on the second day of ophthalmology research organized by the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs. حققت جامعة المعرفة قفزة نوعية في مجال البحث العلمي والابتكار، مسجلة إنجازًا غير مسبوق يعكس مكانتها المتصاعدة ضمن الجامعات الرائدة محليًا ودوليًا. وأظهرت الإحصائيات الرسمية الصادرة بتاريخ20 مايو 2025 أداءً بحثيًا متميزًا، حيث بلغ عدد البحوث المنشورة من قبل باحثي الجامعة 2119 بحثًا في قاعدةWeb of Science، و2027 بحثًا ضمن قاعدة Scopus، في مؤشر واضح على النشاط العلمي المكثف وجودة الإنتاج البحثي.
في موازاة هذا التفوق البحثي، أظهرت جامعة المعرفة دورًا واضحًا في دعم الابتكار وتطوير الحلول الجديدة، حيث سجلت أكثر من 23 اختراعًا جديدًا خلال الفترة الماضية، تنوعت بين نماذج أولية وتطبيقات عملية، وحصل عدد منها على براءات اختراع دولية من المنظمة العالمية للملكية الفكرية (WIPO). وقد تضمنت هذه الابتكارات حلولًا متقدمة في مجالات طبية وتقنية متنوعة، من بينها أجهزة طبية ذكية لتقليل التدخل الجراحي، وأنظمة تعتمد على الذكاء الاصطناعي لمراقبة المؤشرات الحيوية، إضافة إلى أنظمة توصيل دوائي موجه لعلاج الأورام السرطانية، مما يعكس التزام الجامعة بتسخير التكنولوجيا لخدمة الإنسان.
ولم تمر هذه الإنجازات دون إشادة وتكريم. فقد حصل الدكتور محمد غنيم على الميدالية الفضية في معرض جنيف الدولي للاختراعات لعام 2025 عن تطويره لدواء مبتكر لعلاج مرض باركنسون، وهو الابتكار الذي نال كذلك براءة اختراع من WIPO، كما نالت ابتكارات أخرى جوائز مرموقة ضمن جائزة التميز في الابتكار التي تمنحها الجامعة.
وإيمانًا منها بأهمية الاستثمار في العقول الشابة، تواصل جامعة المعرفة من خلال مركز الابتكار وريادة الأعمال تقديم الدعم اللوجستي والتقني للباحثين والطلاب، لتحويل أفكارهم البحثية إلى مشاريع واقعية قابلة للتطبيق والتسويق، مساهمة بذلك في بناء اقتصاد معرفي مستدام يتناغم مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
كما كشفت الجامعة في تقريرها الصادر مطلع مايو الجاري عن الأثر الكبير للبرامج التدريبية المتخصصة، وعلى رأسها “معسكر البحث العلمي2024، والذي ساهم في رفع جودة النشر وزيادة عدد الباحثين الفاعلين ضمن منظومة الجامعة.
بهذه الإنجازات، تكتب جامعة المعرفة فصلًا جديدًا في مسيرتها العلمية، وتؤكد التزامها المستمر بالتميز والابتكار، بما يعزز دورها كمؤسسة أكاديمية تسهم بفعالية في النهوض بالمجتمع العلمي والاقتصادي في المملكة العربية السعودية.
