General Preparation Program

University education begins on the very first day of study by defining clear goals, charting the right paths, and setting sound steps to achieve them. The General Preparation Program is the solid foundation established by Almaarefa University to help students embark on their academic journey with ease, supporting them in overcoming its challenges through a comprehensive study plan tailored to the needs of each professional specialization. This begins with the English Language Program, which represents the primary concern for students of health-related disciplines, in addition to equipping them with essential skills and general knowledge required throughout their educational journey.

The success of the educational process begins with the student and ultimately rests with them, as they determine their ability to confront challenges, overcome difficulties, navigate obstacles, and refuse to surrender to them. University study requires strength and resilience, enabling students to continue their academic journey with ease when they are equipped with the skills and competencies that support progress—such as diligence, discipline, critical thinking skills, time management, responsibility, and commitment.

The university phase is not limited to structured academic instruction alone; rather, it represents a broad horizon and a valuable opportunity for students to discover themselves, open up to others, and build diverse relationships. Introductory Overview

Aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its main pillars, the General Preparation Program at Almaarefa University strives to achieve the highest standards of excellence in developing the skills of incoming students. The first year serves as a fundamental gateway to strengthening the competencies necessary for lifelong learning.

Mission Equipping students with the skills necessary for university study and providing quality education in an environment that fosters creativity and innovation.

Program Content

The program focuses on four main pillars for student development:

يشمل البرنامج ثلاثة مستويات (101، 102، 104) ومقررات تخصصية، تدرس بواسطة نخبة من المتحدثين الأصليين لرفع كفاءة الطالب اللغوية.
تهدف لتقليص الفجوة المعرفية بين الثانوية والجامعة عبر مقررات مثل الأحياء، الكيمياء، الفيزياء، والرياضيات والإحصاء.
تنمية قدرات التواصل الإيجابي، والعمل الجماعي، ومهارات البحث العلمي والتعلم الذاتي.
مقررات توسع الآفاق مثل الثقافة الإسلامية، ريادة الأعمال، والذكاء الاصطناعي في الرعاية الصحية.

English Language Program

نجم 101 (اللغة الإنجليزية – 1)

الساعات: 5 ساعات معتمدة (20 فعلية).

الإعفاء: درجة 30 في اختبار Oxford أو ما يعادلها (IELTS 3.5).

* ملاحظة: طلاب الطب يتطلب قبولهم 40 درجة.

نجم 102 (اللغة الإنجليزية – 2)

الساعات: 5 ساعات معتمدة (20 فعلية).

الإعفاء: درجة 60 في اختبار Oxford أو ما يعادلها (IELTS 5.0).

* شرط أساسي لتسجيل مواد التخصص.

نجم 104 (اللغة الإنجليزية – 3)

خاص بطلبة الطب والجراحة.

الإعفاء: درجة 70 في اختبار Oxford أو ما يعادلها (IELTS 5.5).
